A child was hit by a car while riding a bicycle Tuesday afternoon in Mount Pleasant, according to police.
Officials with the Mount Pleasant Police Department said the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. at a traffic circle on Park West Boulevard.
Child Taken to Hospital
Police said the child was transported to a hospital following the crash.
Authorities confirmed the child was alert and conscious while being taken for treatment.
