A driver died in a crash Wednesday in Spartanburg County after an SUV left the roadway and struck a parked pickup truck, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Driver Killed in Spartanburg County Crash
Troopers said a 1999 Dodge SUV was travelling east on Price House Road when it ran off the left side of the road.
The vehicle then hit a ditch before crashing into an unoccupied 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck parked in a driveway.
SUV Overturned After Impact
According to investigators, the SUV overturned after striking the parked truck.
The driver died at the scene.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
