The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on several active warrants who may be armed.
Authorities Searching for Wanted Man
Officials identified the suspect as Lindberg Ancrum Jr.
According to the sheriff’s office, he has active warrants including failure to appear on charges involving fraudulent checks, unlawful contracting practices, and providing false information to obtain a license.
Suspect May Be Armed
Authorities warned that Ancrum could be armed and advised the public not to approach him if seen.
He is described as a Black man standing about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 275 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Areas He May Frequent
Investigators said Ancrum is known to spend time in the Summerville area and throughout Dorchester County.
Officials also noted he may be wanted by other law enforcement agencies.
