Authorities in Greenville County are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman who may be armed and potentially dangerous.
Missing Woman and Concerns for Safety
Brandi Nelms, 24, was last seen around 8:20 a.m. on Friday in the area of South Piedmont Highway and Oil Mill Road. Deputies say Nelms was reported missing shortly after being seen. Investigators have expressed concern for her safety, noting that she had reportedly cut her wrist before leaving her tent and walking away from the area.
Believed to be Armed
Nelms is believed to be carrying a razor blade, making her potentially dangerous. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, green shorts, and carrying a light green backpack.
Authorities’ Warning
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has urged the public not to approach Nelms if she is spotted. Instead, anyone with information about her whereabouts is advised to call 911 immediately.
