A 36-year-old Wisconsin man, Randy Jenks, faces first-degree intentional homicide charges for allegedly stabbing his 75-year-old grandmother, Patricia Mae Glenn, to death in her Town of Mount Morris home before fleeing to Utah, where Ogden police arrested him without incident. Deputies discovered her body in a pool of blood on Sunday, March 8, 2026, during a welfare check requested by Jenks’ sister.
Incident and Confession
Jenks had lived with Glenn for about a year and was reportedly struggling with mental health issues. Family members told authorities he admitted stabbing her in the neck and living room, saying she “pushed him too far,” then fled because he was scared. His sister overheard him confess on the phone from his aunt’s Ogden home: “I stabbed Grandma in the living room, on the floor.” His mother received a similar call.
Arrest in Utah
After family tips pinpointed Jenks in Ogden, Utah, local police detained him peacefully. A bloody folding knife found there is alleged to be the murder weapon. He’s held in Weber County Jail as a fugitive, awaiting extradition to Waushara County, Wisconsin; no next court date is set.
