Charity Beallis, 40, and her two young children, both around 6 years old, were found shot to death in their Bonanza, Arkansas home on December 3, 2025, during a welfare check by Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Autopsies later confirmed the children died by homicide from gunshot wounds, while Beallis died by suicide. This occurred one day after her final contested divorce and custody hearing on December 2, 2025.
Divorce Background
Beallis filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, 57, on March 5, 2025, after an incident on February 16 where he allegedly choked and harmed her, leading to charges of aggravated assault, domestic battery, and endangering minors. He pleaded guilty to third-degree battery in October 2025, receiving a suspended sentence, fines, and a no-contact order. At the hearing, she represented herself after four attorneys, expressed a desire for reconciliation, but was ordered into joint custody.
Investigation Findings
Beallis deactivated the home’s security system around 10 p.m. on December 2 using her phone, with no doors or windows opened afterward per alarm records. Her estranged husband’s Tesla was not near the home, and his phones did not ping nearby cell towers that night. Authorities ruled she killed her children before taking her own life amid the divorce turmoil.
