Two Florida teenagers, 16-year-old Gabriel Williams and 14-year-old Kimahri Blevins, face first-degree premeditated murder charges for luring 14-year-old Danika Jade Troy to a wooded area in Pace, shooting her multiple times, and burning her body. The incident stemmed from a social media dispute during Thanksgiving break, where Troy allegedly insulted Williams and blocked Blevins. Troy was reported missing by her mother on December 1, 2025, after leaving home on November 30 with her electric scooter.​

A passerby found Troy’s charred remains on December 2 near 3970 Kimberly Road, along with her scooter, a matching shoe, and 9mm ammunition casings evidencing a fire. A witness told police the pair planned the murder, initially intending one shot, but Williams continued firing before they doused and ignited the body. Williams confessed to detectives that Troy called him “worthless and a gang-banger,” while Blevins claimed a falling out, blocked her online, invoked his right to an attorney, and was caught sneaking home by his mother.​

Sheriff Bob Johnson noted the stated motive did not align with forensics and described the teens as supposed friends; Williams used his mother’s stolen handgun.
