Pulled me somewhere I didn't like': Teen dragged 2 women 'to the ground' by hair in toilet altercation before hitting bar staff escorting her outside, cops say

An 18-year-old Florida woman has been arrested after allegedly attacking three people during two related incidents inside and outside a college bar near the University of Florida. Sierra Halton Lindberg was charged with three counts of assault following altercations that took place shortly after midnight on Nov. 1 at UF Plaza, an area known for its student-oriented bars.

According to the first police affidavit, a woman told officers she was inside a bathroom stall when Lindberg allegedly entered, grabbed her by the hair, and pulled her to the ground, leading to a physical struggle. A second woman said she witnessed the attack and tried to intervene, but Lindberg allegedly grabbed her hair as well, pulled her to the floor, and kneed her in the stomach. Both victims had visible injuries, including hair loss and blood in their hair.

Lindberg later told police that she was the one who was grabbed first and claimed she acted in self-defense, saying the other women hit her first.

As staff attempted to escort Lindberg out of the establishment, she allegedly struck a female employee in the head or face with a closed fist when the worker reached for her wristband. The employee said Lindberg then pulled her to the ground by her hair. Lindberg admitted hitting the staff member but said she reacted because the woman “pulled me somewhere I didn’t like.”

Witnesses confirmed the employee was struck in the face. Lindberg, listed as a student in the report, was released on her own recognizance. Her next court date has not yet been announced.
