North Charleston, South Carolina. The North Charleston Police Department is looking into a shooting that left one person injured on Thanksgiving Day.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 4500 block of Dorchester Road shortly before noon on Thursday. When they arrived, they discovered a female with a gunshot wound who was later transported to a neighboring hospital for further treatment of her injuries.
Officers also discovered property damage from the shooting.
