Shots were fired in the North Charleston neighborhood, and five automobiles were damaged

North Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston County officers are investigating after shots were fired in a North Charleston area Friday night, causing damage to five automobiles.

Deputies came to the 7600 block of East Oakridge Circle shortly before 10 p.m. Friday.

A witness told deputies she was at home when she heard five gunshots. According to the witness, gunshots struck numerous automobiles in the driveway of a nearby residence.

Deputies claimed they discovered five vehicles outside the property that had been damaged by bullets, as well as two 9-millimeter shell casings on the road.

Nobody was wounded in the incident.
