Boone Hall's Christmas Tree Festival starts off the holiday season with free events

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This weekend, Boone Hall will host its annual Christmas Tree Festival, which will gather guests from all around the Lowcountry to enjoy the holiday season. The event, now in its sixth year, provides free admission and a range of activities for all ages, such as crafts, rides, and visits with Santa.

“This is our way of giving back to a community that gives so much to us,” said festival director Ryan Neal.

The event is intended to bring both familiar and new faces to Boone Hall, with patrons like Kelsie Lewis, who recently relocated from Alaska, visiting for the first time.

Santa himself complimented Boone Hall Farms for their community support. “The folks here at Boone Hall Farms do their absolute best to, to not only support their community, but also support their whole entire workforce here,” he told me.

He promised guests that “I wait and see every single child and family until everyone has been seen.”

Neal underlined the festival’s inclusive aspect, saying, “We’re really lucky that we have a lot of different ways for people to celebrate the holidays, whatever they celebrate here at Boone Hall.”

The festival serves as a cheerful welcome to the holiday season, inviting everyone to join in the fun.
