North Charleston, South Carolina. On Wednesday, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference to discuss a recent undercover chat operation that purportedly resulted in the arrest of numerous persons. Beginning in May 2025, the sheriff’s office collaborated with the South Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to launch Operation Online Guardian. The campaign lasted six months and encompassed the tri-county area.
Detectives working on the case will describe the arrests and charges during the press conference.
