CHARLESTON, SC. — Water service will be temporarily shut off near Meeting Street Manor on Monday morning while crews work to replace a pipe in the neighborhood.

Officials said the repair is part of the Charleston Housing Authority’s (CHA) continuing Eastside infrastructure renovation project, and the outage will affect residents of Meeting Street Manor. Water service is set to be switched off at 8 a.m., officials say.

“We appreciate our residents’ patience while we continue the important work of replacing and upgrading aging infrastructure,” said Vernon Graham, CHA’s public information officer.

Anyone with inquiries should call the Eastside Management Office at 843-720-3984.
