Summerville, South Carolina – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a gunshot that killed one individual Saturday night.
Carli Carr, a Sheriff spokesman, attended to the incident in the 500 block of Myers Road, near Myers Market.
The route remains open, however deputies urge people to avoid the area if possible.
It is unclear what prompted the shooting. The victim’s name has yet to be identified.
