North Charleston, South Carolina – The North Charleston Police Department responded Saturday to what they described as an isolated incident at Northwoods Mall.
It occurred around 4:15 p.m., according to the agency. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that a man had been shot outside the mall on the sidewalk.
“The victim went to the hospital on his own for treatment,” the agency reported.
No arrests have been made, and the inquiry is still underway.
The mall is open Saturday evening, but the food court is closed.
