Charleston County, South Carolina – On Monday, state authorities charged a Charleston County man with suspected harassment.

The State Law Enforcement Division said on Wednesday that Mark Allen Boyce, 66, has been charged with second-degree harassment.

According to an arrest warrant, Boyce allegedly phoned two people’s workplaces and inquired about their availability to be alone.

On March 28, 2017, the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office notified Boyce to stop interacting with the individuals.

The warrant stated that Boyce attempted to contact them again on September 24, 2025, creating mental and emotional hardship.

The sheriff’s office then asked SLED to assist in the investigation. Boyce was booked in the Dorchester County Detention Center.

He was granted a $25,000 surety bond and released on Tuesday.
