A manhunt is underway for armed males who fired numerous rounds into a car outside a Clemson University extension office in Winnsboro.
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three guys who are alleged to have participated in the shooting and were last seen armed.
They allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle before fleeing on foot when Fairfield County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop it.
The Sheriff’s Office is actively searching the area with K9 units and has closed down numerous county facilities, including the JB Floyd Building, which contains Clemson University’s Fairfield County extension office. The Sheriff’s Office determined that the event occurred at the JB Floyd building.
The Sheriff’s Office declined to indicate whether anyone was injured in the incident.
