Pickens County, South Carolina – A automobile accident occurred in Pickens County early Friday morning, killing a woman.
The Pickens County Coroner’s Office said that the crash occurred around 7 a.m. on Pickens Drive in Liberty. According to investigators, the incident began when a passenger automobile crossed the centre line and crashed head-on with a work truck.
The coroner pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle deceased on the scene. Details about the driver’s name will be suppressed until the deceased’s family is notified.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
The Pickens County Coroner’s Office and the Liberty Police Department continue to investigate the crash.
