SOUTH CAROLINA— According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, one person died and two others were hospitalized after a crash on Highway 501 Tuesday evening.
The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. near the Marion County line. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, the vehicle was driving north on Highway 501 when it crashed into a ditch and overturned many times.
There were three people in the automobile. Two were brought to a neighboring hospital, and the third was pronounced dead on the scene.
