Chester County, South Carolina The Chester County Sheriff’s Office reports that at least one person was hurt as a result of a shooting.
Around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, officials reported a shooting near Catawba River Road, north of the Fort Lawn subdivision.
Deputies reported one gunshot victim. However, they did not detail the severity of the victim’s injuries.
Just before 6 p.m., officials certified that there was no active threat to the community. There was no mention of anyone being arrested.
No other information about the shooting has been published.
