Victim’s Family Responds
Moore’s family expressed relief at the officer’s termination. Her father, Gregory Moore, said, “This man is supposed to protect, but he chose to… God was there for her.” Protesters and family members also demanded that the officer be charged.

The video shows Moore asking her father for help as the officer repeatedly struck her. She was released from jail Friday but still faces charges of burglary, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.
