A shocking case from Florida has come to light, where a man is accused of brutally attacking his ex-girlfriend and leaving her seriously injured on the road. The incident has raised serious concerns about domestic violence and repeated abuse.
Incident in Jupiter, Florida
The alleged attack happened on Center Street in Jupiter. According to the Jupiter Police Department, 29-year-old Austin A. Pare has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Witnesses described a disturbing scene with blood, personal belongings, and a woman lying injured on the road late at night.
What Witnesses Reported
People who saw the incident shared alarming details:
- One witness initially thought the woman was dead
- Another saw what looked like an object flying through the air, which turned out to be the victim
- A man was seen standing over her near a pickup truck
When a witness told the man he had hit the woman, he reportedly replied, “she did it to herself.”

Authorities tracked the suspect using vehicle recognition systems and phone calls made to the hospital. Pare was later arrested and is now being held in Palm Beach County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
