A man was shot overnight Saturday at a 7-Eleven on the 5100 block of Platt Springs Road in Lexington, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the scene Saturday afternoon near a cluster of retail businesses and restaurants. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body and was transported to a local hospital. His current condition has not been released.
Investigation
No other injuries were reported, and the identity of the shooter or shooters remains unknown. Authorities have not disclosed a motive, and no arrests have been made.
