A 22-year-old student from Northern Kentucky University has been missing for nearly a week after never making it to class, and concerns for their safety continue to escalate.
Disappearance of Murry “Alexis” Foust
Murry “Alexis” Foust, a student at NKU, was last seen on Monday, April 27, according to the Covington Police Department. They were reported missing shortly after they did not show up to class, and authorities are now intensifying their search.
Foust was last spotted in surveillance photos walking in Latonia, carrying a bright yellow backpack and wearing a dark jacket, a t-shirt, patterned pants, and sneakers. These images were released by police on Friday, but as of Sunday, Foust remains unaccounted for.
Details of the Search
Friends and family of Foust are becoming increasingly worried. Charlie King, a close friend, posted an urgent message on Facebook, detailing the situation. According to King, Foust’s car was found a block away from their apartment in Latonia, Kentucky, near Decoursey Ave. Additionally, Foust’s bag was found at NKU, and their cellphone was discovered in their apartment.
“There is not a trace of Murry anywhere,” King wrote. “Their friends, family, and their partner are all very worried.”
King further mentioned that Foust had been in good spirits before their disappearance but did take medication for mental health disorders, raising concerns about their well-being.
Police Investigation and University Support
Northern Kentucky University has expressed concern over Foust’s disappearance. In a statement, a university spokesperson said:
“We are deeply concerned, and our thoughts are with their family, friends, and all those impacted. The Covington Police Department is leading the investigation, and we are fully cooperating and supporting their efforts.”

Foust is described as Caucasian, with black-dyed shoulder-length hair, choppy bangs, and brown eyes. They are 5’7 and have several tattoos, including:

- A depiction of a crucified Jesus Christ on one of their shins
