The school year is coming to an end for students across the Lowcountry, with different districts finishing at different times.
Early Finishers
Colleton County School District will be the first to start summer break, with the last day of school on Friday, May 22.
End of May Closures
Charleston County School District and Dorchester School District 2 will dismiss students on Thursday, May 28. Dorchester District 4, Georgetown County School District, and Williamsburg County School District will finish on Friday, May 29.
Last to Finish
Berkeley County School District will be the last in the area to end the school year, with students’ final day on Monday, June 1.
