A deadly shooting in North Charleston has left one person dead, with police now investigating the case and asking the public for help.
Shooting Reported in North Charleston
The incident happened in the Dorchester Terrace area of North Charleston on Wednesday night. According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers were called to the 2200 block of Bailey Drive around 10:55 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of gunfire.
Victim Found at Scene
When officers arrived, they found an adult male lying outside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders immediately tried to save him by providing medical assistance.
Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Arrests Yet
At this time, no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Police have not released the identity of the victim or details about what may have led to the incident.
