The York County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on the night of Saturday, April 4, 2026, that left one person injured near the intersection of Hall Spencer Road and Cureton Ferry Road in the Catawba community. Deputies arrived around 10:20 p.m. after a call and found a victim who had been struck by a bullet; the person’s current condition has not yet been released.
