YORK COUNTY, S.C. – A man wanted on an attempted murder charge out of Charlotte was taken into custody by York County authorities on Wednesday evening, following a coordinated search in a residential neighborhood.
Police Response and Search
Deputies reported a heavy police presence on Village Green Lane, just off Neely’s Creek Road, at approximately 9:50 p.m. The York County Sheriff’s Office deployed units to assist the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in locating and tracking the fleeing suspect.
Arrest of the Suspect
After a coordinated search of the area, law enforcement officers located the suspect and took him into custody without further incident.
