CLOVER, S.C. — York County deputies are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred early Thursday morning in the Clover area, resulting in stolen items, including at least one firearm.
Reports of Break-Ins
According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, deputies have received at least 10 reports of vehicle break-ins in the Mill Creek Falls neighborhood near Highway 274. Investigators say several items were taken from the vehicles. Residents are urged to check their vehicles for missing belongings or signs of forced entry.
Surveillance Footage
One homeowner provided surveillance footage showing multiple suspects walking through the neighborhood around 3 a.m. Thursday. The video reportedly shows several individuals using flashlights to check vehicle door handles and search inside unlocked cars.
Investigation and Public Assistance
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and it remains unclear whether any suspects have been identified. Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact the York County Sheriff’s Office.
