Phillip Blake Mink, a 47-year-old man from Jonesboro, Arkansas, faces serious felony charges after allegedly violating a protective order and attempting to harm his ex-wife. Police reports detail his actions on January 15, 2026, leading to his arrest in a Kroger parking lot.

Incident Timeline

Jonesboro Police responded to the victim’s home that afternoon for a protective order violation. Mink had rung her doorbell repeatedly, banged on windows, and sent texts to lure her outside before driving off in a white Ford F-150.

Later, at the Kroger on S Caraway Road, the victim flagged down an officer while on the phone with Mink, who was yelling. Officers spotted his truck, attempted a stop, but Mink U-turned into the lot at high speed, ramming her vehicle.

Charges and Arrest

Mink exited his truck and approached aggressively, prompting the victim to fire a warning shot in self-defense; he was unharmed. Video footage confirmed her account of fearing for her life.

District Judge Tommy Fowler set a $100,000 cash-only bond on January 16, citing prior violations, and imposed a no-contact order plus GPS monitoring if released. Charges include criminal attempt at first-degree murder (Class A felony), first-degree stalking (Class C), first-degree criminal mischief (Class B), and violation of a protection order.

Court Next Steps

Mink remains in Craighead County Jail. His arraignment is set for February 27, 2026.
