North Charleston Police arrested Rashad Aykeem Bradley, 28, on Thursday night after discovering a stolen gun during a traffic stop near Dorchester Road and Constitution Avenue.

Incident Details

Officers on proactive patrol detected a strong marijuana odor from Bradley’s vehicle around 9 p.m., which intensified upon approach amid heavy smoke inside. A probable cause search revealed the firearm under the driver’s seat, confirmed stolen from Dorchester County via records check.​

Charges and Booking

Bradley faces charges of receiving stolen goods valued under $2,000 and was booked into Al Cannon Detention Center. This incident highlights North Charleston’s ongoing efforts to curb gun-related crimes through routine patrols, similar to recent traffic stops yielding firearms in the area.
