The 34th annual Reindeer Run is a family-oriented, pet-friendly 5K run/walk in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, benefiting MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.​
Event Schedule
Road closures and parking enforcement start at 5 a.m., with the race route closing at 7:45 a.m. and the event beginning at 8:45 a.m. Most roads reopen by 9:30 a.m., fully by 11 a.m., and officers assist residents and traffic.​
Race Route
The route starts on Meeting Street near Cumberland Street, heading south to South Battery, right to King Street, left to Murray Boulevard, right to Tradd Street for a U-turn, then back via East Battery, South Battery, and north on Meeting to the finish.​
Parking Restrictions
No on-street parking from 5 a.m. in these areas: Meeting Street within 200 feet of South Battery; South Battery between Meeting and King; King between South Battery and Murray Boulevard; Murray Boulevard between King and Tradd. Unmoved vehicles face towing.
