Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 2 p.m. on December 4, 2025, to a Burger King at College Park Road and Highway 78 in Ladson after reports of gunshots fired inside the restaurant. Sheriff Duane Lewis stated preliminary findings show two individuals argued in the bathroom, leading to shots being fired.​
Damage and Injuries
No injuries occurred, but property damage included a shattered glass door and other visible impacts at the scene. Deputies noted the suspect fled in a vehicle before their arrival, with law enforcement still active on site as of mid-afternoon.​
