Charleston, South Carolina – Pet parents hoping to get their furry pals into the Christmas mood are in luck, as PetSmart’s annual Santa photo-op returns this December with free, festive photographs.
According to PetSmart, on December 13 and 14, between 2 and 5 p.m., pets of all kinds – dogs, cats, and small animals – can pose with Santa at any shop location nationwide.
The event is free and accessible to the public, providing families with a simple, no-cost method to capture a holiday snapshot of their four-legged (or feathered) pet.
According to PetSmart, more than 90% of pet parents include their pets in holiday celebrations, making Santa sessions a popular seasonal activity.
Attendees are advised to dress their pets appropriately for the occasion. The retailer’s Merry & Bright collection is available in-store and online, and it includes everything from plaid vests and velvet bows to fuzzy pajamas, festive headbands, ugly sweaters, and even little Santa outfits.
Pet owners who attend the event can earn in-store benefits, including as 5X Treats points for Treats Rewards members, according to PetSmart.
