Charleston, South Carolina – A part of Interstate 526 was closed Monday night due to a collision, Charleston police said.
According to officials, I-526 east at Paul Cantrell Boulevard is closed after a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries. Drivers are asked to use an alternate route while crews work to clear the situation.
