North Charleston, South Carolina. – Several Lowcountry communities will honor veterans on Tuesday, with the City of North Charleston hosting its own.
This Veterans Day, the city will hold its 23rd annual homage to honor the bravery and sacrifices of those who serve in the United States Armed Forces.
Mayor Reggie Burgess, the City Council, and community members will gather at 10:00 a.m. to honor our nation’s soldiers. to 12:00 p.m. at North Charleston’s Performing Arts Center.
In honor of Veterans Day, North Charleston trash collection and Dorchester County recycling pickup will be shifted by one day for the rest of the week.
City offices will also be closed for the holiday.
