Summerville, South Carolina – The Summerville Police Department is investigating a gunshot at the Azalea Square Shopping Center on Friday night.
Summerville Police Lt. Drayton stated that a group of teenagers and adults were in the parking area near World Market when one of the suspects shot a gun.
Witnesses say the perpetrator fled the scene before being apprehended by police. The victim was reportedly shot in the leg.
The suspect’s identity remains unknown at this time. The Summerville Police Department is still investigating.
