Berkeley County, South Carolina. — On Saturday afternoon, crews responded to a diver in trouble at the Bushy Park Boat Landing.
Berkeley County officials say the saltwater side of the landing is closed as emergency crews respond to the situation.
Around midday, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a commercial diver in danger, who dived underwater and has yet to resurface. Dive scenes are on the scene, looking for the diver.
The investigation is being led by the United States Coast Guard. News 2 has reached out to the Coast Guard for more information.
