A drug investigation resulted in four arrests at Greenwood apartments

Four individuals have been arrested in Greenwood, South Carolina, following two separate drug-related investigations.

Greenwood Police Make Multiple Arrests on Drug Charges

The first operation took place on Tuesday, May 5, at Phoenix Place Apartments on Phoenix Street. Officers executed a drug search warrant that led to three arrests:

  • Franklin Roberts, 20, was charged with simple possession of marijuana.
  • Timothy Brown, 63, and Evelyn Timpson, 36, were both charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Fentanyl Trafficking Arrest at Greenbriar Apartments

A separate investigation led to the arrest of Latavise Martin, 20, on Wednesday, May 6, at Greenbriar Apartments on Haltiwanger Road. Martin was wanted in connection with a fentanyl trafficking case.

After his arrest, officers executed a search warrant at his residence and found drugs. They also recovered a vehicle that Martin had been seen entering and exiting, which was later confirmed to be stolen from North Carolina.

Charges and Arrest Details

Martin faces several charges, including possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (Schedule I–V), and receiving stolen goods valued at $10,000 or more. He also has an outstanding warrant for trafficking fentanyl.

All four individuals were transported to the Greenwood County Detention Center, where they are awaiting bond hearings.
