A Georgetown County foster mother, Rosa Singleton, 46, has been arrested following allegations of abuse reported by two elementary school students. The students informed their school’s resource officer about the alleged abuse, prompting an investigation.
Details of the Alleged Abuse
The students told the resource officer that Singleton had been tying one of the children to a chair and taping his mouth shut as a form of punishment. The allegations led investigators to take Singleton into custody, and she was booked into the Georgetown County Detention Center.
Ongoing Investigation and DSS Involvement
