A 17-year-old was arrested in North Charleston after police say he was found carrying a handgun at a McDonald’s.

Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. Monday to the McDonald’s on West Montague Avenue after a complainant reported seeing the teen with a firearm in surveillance footage from the previous day. The teenager returned to the restaurant, prompting police to respond.
