Knotts, who never expected to be recognized as a “key influencer,” humbly acknowledged the honor. “I don’t think I’m a key influencer. I just do what I feel like needs to be done, so it’s a blessing to be honored,” she said. Despite her modesty, her dedication to inspiring young minds in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) caught the attention of the Blue Angels, earning her this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Her husband, Bridger Knotts, couldn’t hide his pride for his wife. “I’m so proud of her and how she worked hard for that. I’m just glad she got to get that flight,” he said. It’s clear that this opportunity was a special moment not only for Carrie but for her entire family.
