Charleston, SC – Roxana Massie, visionary entrepreneur and proud owner of Latina Bazaar Market, has officially announced the launch of the Spanglish Small Business Expo, a first-of-its-kind event designed to unite and elevate small businesses in both English- and Spanish-speaking communities across Charleston and beyond.
Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges
Slated for Saturday, July 13th, from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Charleston Area Convention Center, the Spanglish Small Business Expo is set to become the largest bilingual business mixer in the region. With over 63 exhibitors and vendors, food trucks serving diverse cuisines, and family-friendly attractions, this one-day event promises to spark connection, collaboration, and commerce in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
A Mission Rooted in Empowerment
“At the heart of this expo is a mission to empower small businesses—no matter the language they speak,” says Roxana Massie. “We are cultivating a space where English and Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs can thrive together. Our goal is to build a Spanglish business alliance that connects small enterprises to larger corporations, fostering opportunities that were once out of reach.”
The expo aims to dismantle language barriers and ignite a new era of innovation, community engagement, and economic development.
Why This Expo is Different
What truly sets the Spanglish Small Business Expo apart is its commitment to minority- and small-business empowerment. More than just a tradeshow, it’s a platform for growth, a hub for networking, and a launchpad for national collaboration.
As Charleston’s first and only Spanglish Business Mixer Alliance, the event welcomes participation from businesses across the United States. Local entrepreneurs will have a chance to showcase their talents, form meaningful partnerships, and scale their reach to a national level.
Get Involved – Spread the Word
The success of this movement depends on community support. Help us amplify the voices of our local entrepreneurs by sharing the event, inviting your network, and attending in person. Together, we can build a stronger, more united small business community—one that celebrates diversity, connection, and growth.
