Authorities in South Carolina say a woman was rescued Friday afternoon after jumping from a bridge into Lake Wylie.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, a nearby boater pulled the woman from the water after she jumped from the Buster Boyd Bridge.

The bridge connects Highway 49 between Lake Wylie and southwest Charlotte.
