Mount Pleasant police arrested Christian Mikola Thursday evening on four counts of “pointing a firearm at a person” after responding to a disturbance on Sea Gull Drive.
What happened
Police were called around 3:40 p.m. about someone pointing a gun on Sea Gull Drive. When officers arrived, the people involved had already separated and no injuries were reported.
According to Sgt. Robert Blaschke, the accused went back into a house and refused to come out, so officers contained the scene and tried to persuade him to speak with them.
Current status of the case
Mikola was arrested around 7:45 p.m. on the four firearm‑related charges.
Sea Gull Drive was temporarily closed at Chuck Dawley Boulevard as a precaution but has since reopened.
If you want, I can try to track whether any follow‑up details (bail, court date, or additional charges) have been released later this week.
