The Town of James Island hosted a special Friday Town Market on January 9, 2026, featuring a food truck extravaganza at James Island Town Hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.​

Eight local vendors offered diverse options including Dahotbox Burgers & Brats for savory eats, Donut Daddy and Twisted Sugar for sweets, A-Roi Thai for Asian flavors, Co-Hog Food Truck and The Biscuit Shed for comfort food, DoughBoyz Pizza for slices, and Miss Priss the Sugar Shop for treats.​
Activities and Features
Attendees enjoyed live classic rock music from the Front Porch Rockers, a petting zoo, kids’ crafts, lawn games, and over two dozen local vendor booths.​
Parking Information
Plenty of parking was available at the Hillman lot on Dills Bluff Road, behind the Anglican Church on Camp Road, and at the First Baptist Church lot on Camp Road.​
