Seacoast Church in Summerville, South Carolina, is opening its Warming Center due to forecasted cold temperatures dropping Monday night, offering shelter to those without adequate heat.

Services Provided

Guests receive hot showers, warm dinners, cots with linens and pillows, and a heated place to sleep overnight. A takeaway breakfast is served Tuesday morning, with men, women, families, and pets all welcome.

Location and Hours

The center operates at 301 E. 5th N. St., Summerville, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pets are housed warmly through Sheltered Paws, a nonprofit linked to the church. This aligns with the church’s seasonal activations below 35 degrees, providing expanded community support like hygiene kits and medical checks.
