Low Country, South Carolina — Beginning November 11, Feed the Need will mobilize Charleston’s hospitality community to support those facing food insecurity as a result of recent SNAP cuts.
As more families struggle to access nutritious meals, Feed the Need is collaborating with restaurants and hotels to raise funds for the Lowcountry Food Bank.
According to the group, Charleston’s hospitality community has long demonstrated what is possible when everyone works together, and all earnings from this cooperation will support the Lowcountry Food Bank and the neighbors most affected by lower SNAP payments.
Feed the Need is a nonprofit organization formed by members of Charleston’s hospitality sector to combat food insecurity through community engagement, meal support, and rapid response efforts.
This campaign runs from November 11 to November 30, and donations can be made here.
