ISLE OF PALMS, South Carolina – The Isle of Palms will host its annual Halloween golf cart parade and carnival on Friday afternoon.
The procession will include dozens of golf carts decked out in Halloween-themed decorations. The top three golf carts with the finest decorations will each get a prize.
Organizers said the procession will begin and end at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center (24 28th Ave.) at 4 p.m., with the carnival following.
Attendees can drive through a haunted house, ride inflatables, and eat from food booths. There will also be trick-or-treat bags for the kids.
Isle of Palms Police stated that the event will have an impact on several of the island’s highways, which will be closed from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
