Ten apartments were damaged in the Greenville apartment fire

Greenville, South Carolina – Greenville firefighters responded to a fire at the Pelham Apartments on Pelham Road Thursday evening.

Officials said a tenant had called to report smelling smoke. Crews arrived just before 8:30 p.m. to discover fire blazing from the structure’s outside.

Officials reported that ten units were destroyed, and 11 to 12 people were relocated.

Nobody was wounded. Investigators are on the scene attempting to discover the cause of the fire.
